Are you struggling with erectile dysfunction (the inability to achieve or maintain an erection), pre-mature ejaculation, hypoactive sexual desire or want to enhance your sexual pleasure? Look no further HAV has solutions for you. Treatment options for men

  • Tadalafil (Cialis)
  • Sildenafil (Viagra)
  • Injectable Trimix

Tadalafil (Cialis) and Sildenafil (Viagra) are in a class of drugs called PDE5 inhibitors used to treat Erectile Dysfunction. These drugs work by blocking an enzyme called phosphodiesterase type 5. They also boost a chemical in your body called nitric oxide. This action encourages the muscles in your penis to relax to increase blood flow to the penis following sexual stimulation and allows men to keep an erection hard enough for sexual activity. At HAV we prefer, Tadalafil over Sildenafil. Tadalafil is available as a lower strength tablet that can be taken on a daily basis, eliminating the need to ‘plan’ for sex. It is also available as an ‘as needed’ tablet. The effect of one tablet lasts for up to 36 hours.

PDE5 inhibitors are FDA-approved to treat the following in men:

    • Erectile dysfunction– the inability to get and keep an erection firm enough for sex.
    • Symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a prostate condition that may cause problems with urination
    • ED and symptoms of BPH together

**NOTE: PDE5 inhibitors may not be a safe option in some patients. This can include people with heart conditions such as an irregular heart rhythm and people who take other medications such as nitrates.
